Vinilon contributes to environmental conservation by utilizing renewable energy, namely a solar panel energy system, as one of the sources of electricity for two factory locations (Cileungsi, West Java, and Mojokerto, East Java). The use of solar panels is in line with the government’s commitment to reduce greenhouse gasses and energy efficiency. With this energy’s utilization, Vinilon can reduce around 1,684 tons of estimated carbon emissions per year from its production activities.
With a commitment to its eco-friendly product excellence, Vinilon’s products are also used in several significant projects, one of which is in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN). Vinilon supports the development of IKN infrastructure, Nusantara, through Jaringan Distribusi Utama (JDU) and Jaringan Distribusi Pembagi (JDP) SPAM Sepaku Phase 1 construction system in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan. It is a pipeline system network that provides access to clean water with lead-free and eco-friendly quality pipes to support the development of IKN.
