The Story Behind Noah’s Great Journey with Vinilon

The Great Journey of Noah—The Final Show was successfully held in Jakarta. After an extensive tour in various cities such as Makassar, Medan, Surabaya, and Bandung, the grand finale concert, “The Great Journey of NOAH: The Final Show,” took place last Sunday (12/3) at Beach City International Stadium in Ancol, Jakarta. In their last concert, NOAH shared the excitement with the support of Vinilon Group, contributing to the final performance of the Bandung-based band.

The Final Show brought various activities to delight their fans, affectionately known as Sahabat NOAH, one of which was the meet and greet attended by Sahabat NOAH at the Novotel Mangga Dua Hotel Ballroom. This meet and greet held a special significance as it welcomed Sahabat NOAH from neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Australia. It was a priceless moment for Sahabat NOAH, as they had the opportunity to sing, take photos, and ask questions directly to Ariel, Lukman, and David.

This opportunity built a sense of togetherness between NOAH and their fans through various events also attended by the Vinilon team. Together with Sahabat NOAH, Vinilon enjoyed a fun karaoke session, singing the song “Cobalah Mengerti.” Later, we had the chance to participate in a Q&A session and jam together. During the Q&A session, Noah spoke about their reasons for taking a hiatus. Here, NOAH committed to leaving sweet memories for fans by performing their latest song, “Suara Dalam Kepala,” before taking a long break.

A mix of emotion and excitement

On December 3, 2023, the next day, the Vinilon team continued to enliven The Great Journey of Noah: The Final Show with the theme “Beyond Dreams.” The song “Topeng” opened the show, soaring Noah’s reputation even higher. Interestingly, the concert was attended by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and the First Lady, Iriana Joko Widodo, who seemed to thoroughly enjoy NOAH’s final performance at the Beach City International Stadium in Ancol. Despite facing hoarseness due to illness, Ariel delivered a total of 22 songs and showcased his best until the end.

Moreover, Noah surprised the audience numerous times during their final concert. It started with the visual appearance of a giant astronaut on the LED screen, followed by Ariel’s entrance. Then, Ariel appeared alongside a fan, singing “Ini Cinta,” and the presence of Reza, ex-drummer of NOAH, who took the stage, evoking emotions from the entire audience, concluding with the song “Khayalan Tingkat Tinggi.” Before that, Ariel expressed gratitude to all their fans who have been witnesses to their career journey.

“As this is our last concert, it’s probably most fitting to say it here. Thank you so much to everyone who has been listening to our songs, from Peterpan to Noah, from buying CDs to streaming now,” Ariel concluded.

Vinilon also conducted a giveaway on social media (@vinilon_group), distributing exclusive merchandise signed by all NOAH members. Alongside NOAH, Vinilon shared the excitement with Sahabat NOAH to collectively support the music industry in Indonesia.
