3 Exciting Highlights from the Vinilon Goes to Campus Event at Udayana University, Bali
Vinilon Goes to Campus (VGTC) recently visited Udayana University in Balion Tuesday, May 14th. VGTC is a regular guest lecture event organized by Vinilon to engage the academic community in realizing the three pillars of higher education: teaching and education. Under the theme “Plastic Pipes, Pipes of the Future,” Vinilon Group aims to introduce the positive aspects of plastic as a raw material for pipes.
Plastic pipes made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), and polypropylene (PP-R) are more environmentally friendly compared to metal pipes. The durability of plastic is one of the advantages of plastic pipes over metal pipes. Being non-corrosive, pipes made from PVC, PE, and PP-R last longer and are more robust for long-term use. This durability is beneficial for sustainable living. Let’s continue with the highlights of this event!
- Group Photo Session
The event was attended by more than 60 Mechanical Engineering students and faculty from Udayana University’s Faculty of Engineering. The event was kicked off with an opening speech by I Gusti Ketut Sukadana, S.T., M.T., the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information. Followed by an exciting group photo session with all the engineering students.
- Intriguing Presentation
During the material presentation, students were introduced to various types of pipes and their uses by Muhammad Iqbal Alfurqon, a Product Specialist from Vinilon Group. Students also learned about pipe joining techniques. The students showed great enthusiasm, with many eagerly asking questions about the pipe technology developments presented by Vinilon Group.
- Engaging Games
In the final session, students participated in games involving pipes. They were challenged to detach Vinilon push-on pipe joints using a release key, as explained in the earlier presentation. This game demonstrated that push-on joints are strong, leak-proof, and easy to install and that they can be detached with a simple tool, making pipe joining tasks easier.
Hopefully, the Vinilon Goes to Campus event has provided valuable knowledge and experience for Udayana University students about piping solutions, helping to build a generation of skilled and character-driven future leaders. Want Vinilon to visit your campus? Please, contact Halo Vini.
