About Vinilon Cable Pipe
Vinilon Cable Pipes are an integrated cable protection system designed to safeguard vital infrastructure networks, building electrical installations or underground telecommunication networks. Vinilon offers two main cable pipe variants: uPVC Conduit (High Impact) for indoor electrical cable installations and HDPE Subduct for fiber optic cable protection (Fiber Optic Cable Shielding).
Manufactured using advanced extrusion technology and high-quality materials, Vinilon Cable Pipes comply with stringent industry standards. The HDPE variant is certified under Telkom STEL L-039-2008 and is widely used by major internet service providers. Meanwhile, the uPVC Conduit variant meets the BS EN 61386-21 standard, ensures installation safety against short circuits and fire risks in high-rise buildings, residential areas, and industrial estates.
- Maximum Protection with High Impact Strength: The durable material is capable of withstanding heavy impact and compressive loads, protecting the cables inside from physical damage or pressure from soil and concrete.
- Flame Retardant Properties: Specifically for the uPVC Conduit variant, the material is self extinguishing, meaning flames will not propagate in the event of a short circuit, providing enhanced safety for buildings.
- High Flexibility: The pipe can be easily bent using a spring bender without cracking or deforming, making installation easier along curved or complex routes.
- Smooth Inner Surface: The inner wall is extremely smooth to minimize friction, preventing cable scratches or breakage during the cable pulling process.
- Corrosion and Weather Resistant: Made from high quality polymer materials that are resistant to rust, extreme temperature changes, and chemical exposure.
- Color Coding and Identification Standard: Equipped with colored stripes such as blue or yellow for network identification in accordance with STEL standards, along with production date marking for easier traceability.
- High-Rise & Residential Buildings: Protecting electrical wiring inside walls (in-bow) or ceilings (out-bow) for a neat and safe finish.
- Telecommunication Backbones: Serving as ducts and sub-ducts for underground fiber optic cables (OSP – Outside Plant).
- Industrial & Commercial Areas: Electrical installations in factories requiring protection against chemicals and mechanical impacts.
- Infrastructure Projects: CCTV and data cable protection for toll roads and airports (e.g., Jagorawi Toll Road, Soekarno-Hatta Airport).
Vinilon offers jointing methods that are fast, neat, and ensure a watertight seal to protect the cables:
- Push-On System (HDPE Pipe): A revolutionary “Just One Second” connection method. Simply cut the pipe squarely and push it into the fitting until it hits the stopper. No solvent cement or heating tools required, maximizing efficiency in the field.
- Solvent Cement (uPVC Conduit): Uses specialized solvent cement to chemically fuse the pipe with fittings (such as Couplings and Junction Boxes), creating a strong, inseparable bond.
- Comprehensive Accessories: Supported by a wide range of fittings including Junction Boxes (2, 3, 4 ways), U-Clamps, and Bell Mouths to facilitate complex and organized cable management.
