University of Indonesia became the destination for Vinilon Goes To Campus (VGTC) after visiting several well-known campuses throughout Indonesia.
Vinilon Group came with the theme Basic Engineering: Design and Installation of HDPE Pipe this time introduces the latest technology in HDPE pipe welding, which is one of the products produced by Vinilon Group. This event opened with a warm welcome from Subuat Laksono, as Lecturer in Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia, who enthusiastically welcomed the participants from the Environmental Engineering department with a total of more than 80 participants in attendance.
In this event, participants were invited to understand more deeply about HDPE pipe welding through presentations from two experts, Uza Sefridinata as Product Department Head and Ihsan Mahdi as Product Specialist, Vinilon Group. They present material interactively, so that participants can easily understand even complex concepts.
Not only in theory, VGTC always provides direct practice with the aim that participants can learn and have experience before going into the field later.
HDPE pipe installation is a technology in piping systems that offers various advantages, ranging from strength, flexibility, to environmental sustainability. Through presentations from Uza and Ihsan, participants were able to see how important it is to apply this technology in various fields, from industry to urban and rural infrastructure.
One of the University of Indonesia students, Alfat Halimah, expressed her impression after participating in this event, “I am very happy with Vinilon Goes To Campus this time because I can gain a lot of knowledge starting from piping systems, pipe connection practices, and the introduction of resume from Human Resources Vinilon.”
Faiz, another student, added, “The event was very exciting and very insightful, we got to know what working at Vinilon Group is like and understand about connecting HDPE pipes directly. I am very happy to have Vinilon Group here, and I am looking forward to the internship opportunity at Vinilon!”
Apart from presenting material and pipe connection practices, VGTC also presented the Recruitment Team, Benedictus Lucky, who presented material regarding recruitment at the Vinilon Group as well as learning about how to make a good and correct resume.
