Vinilon Goes To Campus at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta

Vinilon Group recently organised its regular event, Vinilon Goes To Campus (VGTC), and this time, Vinilon visited Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, specifically at the UTA’45 Auditorium, on Thursday (16/11). VGTC is a Vinilon Group programme aimed at introducing Vinilon products to various segments of society, including students who will be the future leaders of the nation.

The event, which took place from 09:30 to 12:30, was attended by more than 60 UTA’45 students from the Faculty of Engineering, consisting of students from the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Informatics Engineering departments. The event was also graced by the Vice Rector of Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, Michael Matthew B.Sc, M.H., the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ir. Didit Sumardiyanto, M.T., the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Programme, Panji Wijonarko, S.Kom., M.Kom., and the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Programme, Muktar Sinaga, S.T., M.T., along with other faculty members and alumni from the Faculty of Engineering UTA’45. Additionally, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta invited students from public and private vocational high schools in Jakarta, along with representatives of teachers from each school.

According to the theme “Plastic Pipes, Pipes of the Future,” Abduroffi and Roy Tambunan, a part of the Product Specialist team at Vinilon Group, presented a variety of seminar sessions covering topics ranging from the world of pipeline technology to information about pipe goods manufactured by Vinilon Group. They also highlighted other programmes, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Beyond seminars on pipeline technology, the event also featured presentations on creating an appealing resume, psychometric tests to assess personality traits, and insights into job opportunities in the pipe manufacturing industry by Lucky Benedictus and Merviana from the Vinilon Group Recruitment team. Thus, VGTC aims to provide a snapshot of opportunities and career paths in the related industry.

Furthermore, the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Programme, Ir. Didit Sumardiyanto, M.T., expressed that this event is highly beneficial and offers broad opportunities for participants. “We thank Vinilon Group for organising VGTC, providing new knowledge with the hope that it will be useful for all participants in line with their current academic pursuits.”

Through the organisation of the VGTC event, Vinilon Group is committed to continuously providing knowledge and experiences to the next generation, enabling them to grow into individuals who can contribute to the development of Indonesia.
