Are you good at writing? Have a passion for writing? Or want to get another writing experience? Show your writings in Vinilon Group Essay Competition with the Theme of Appropriate Technology for Plastic Piping and win prizes of tens of millions of rupiah!

Terms and Conditions:

Special Terms

• Theme : “Appropriate Technology for Plastic Piping”. *
  *The theme in question are:
  • Functional plastic pipes, fittings and accessories for proper use
  • Plastic pipe joining technology
  • Engineering and installation method
• Participants criteria: General (WNI)
• Not an employee of the Vinilon Group, including the employee’s nuclear family.
• Each participant may only submit a maximum of 2 essays.
• Submitted papers are original, that have never won in other competitions.
• The title and content of the essay are in accordance with the theme of the essay.
• The writing use a correct Indonesian grammar in accordance with the Indonesian Spelling (EBI).
• Does not contain elements of SARA and Politics.
• Passed the plagiarism test (80% Authenticity).
• The committee has the right and authority over all works. (Essays that have been declared winning are fully the rights of Vinilon Group)
• The jury’s decision is final and cannot be contested.

CONDITIONS OF ESSAY

• Essays are sent in pdf format.
• The title is typed in capital letters.
• Under the title, include the author’s name.
• Essay manuscript must be typed up to 3000 words (not including cover).
• Manuscripts are typed in A4 paper size format, Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 spacing.
• Margins 4cm left, 3cm right, 3cm bottom, and 3cm top.
• Essay Manuscripts consist of title page, body of manuscript, bibliography, attachments (if necessary).

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

1. Creative and innovative: Writing contains creative ideas according to the theme.
2. Originality of Work: The originality of ideas in creating an innovation.
3. Feasibility of implementation: Logical and systematic.
   • Each step of writing is designed systematically and coherently
   • The essay contains elements of problem identification, analysis, and conclusion

WEIGHTAGE OF ASSESSMENT

• Conformity to the theme: 25%
• Originality: 25%
• Creativity of ideas: 25%
• Feasibility/potential implementation : 20%
• Data and sources of information: 5%

PS: All works will be judged by a jury who is a practitioner in the Plastic Piping field. The judges’ decision will be final.

TERMS OF SUBMISSION

• Participants send their writings in pdf format with the file name: ESSAY VINILON_JUDUL_Name of Participant.
• Participants send the Lembar Orisinalitas in pdf format with the file name: VINILON ESSAY_Originality Sheet_Participant Name.
• Participants send a photo of their ID card with the file name: VINILON ESSAY_KTP_Participant Name.
• All requested files can be sent to the Competition Committee via Google Form.
• Submission of works no later than October 31, 2022 at 23.59 WIB
