Driving Growth Piping Systems: Digital Synergy at Vinilon Convention 2024

As a form of appreciation to its business partners, Vinilon Group held the Vinilon Convention 2024 on May 4-5, which was attended by more than 80 distributors from across Indonesia. This regularly held event aims to strengthen the bond between Vinilon Group and its distributors. With the theme ‘Digital Synergy, Vinilon Generation’, this event provided a platform to deepen relationships and explore the potential of digital synergy with distributors, especially in the piping industry.

The importance of digital synergy was highlighted by Vinilon Group’s Distribution Sales Director, Suherman Sarkawi, as the event’s topic. He emphasized that preserving competitive advantage and enhancing operational effectiveness depend on digital innovation.

“Collaborating with digital technology enables us to provide better services to our customers and ensure that our products remain of high quality. The implementation of digital technology is expected to lead Vinilon towards a brighter future”, Suherman said.

Synergy in Action

The first stop on the itinerary was the Vinilon Factory, which is situated in Cileungsi, Bogor. Business partners were greeted warmly by Vinilon Group Manufacturing Director Teddy Sujanto and given a tour of the factory right away. Here, Vinilon’s business partners could observe directly the uPVC pipe and fitting production process, Vinilon Glue automation methods, and quality control procedures. They also developed a deeper comprehension of Vinilon pipes and the digitalization-integrated automation system used in the glue manufacturing process.

Participants went directly to Bandung after visiting the factory. They were invited to board Whoosh Train, a fast-moving train, for yet another thrilling adventure this time. The approximately 30-minute tour encouraged participants to take selfies as they went along, eager to preserve the occasion.

The celebration went on with a group dinner at the Mason Pine Hotel in Padalarang Bandung. During Sandy Susanto’s introductory remarks, the CEO of Vinilon Group at Pine Ballroom was filled with the spirit of digital synergy for the Vinilon Generation.

Carrying the message of Digital Synergy for the Vinilon Generation, Suherman Sarkawi, Distribution Sales Director of Vinilon Group, further presented a deeper introduction to the goals and programs of Vinilon Group that can be achieved together with future partners.

As a token of appreciation to the distributors who have worked well together at the Vinilon Convention, Vinilon Group presented awards under the category of Vini Icon. These awards were granted to PT CV Anugerah Makmur Perkasa, CV Tunas Baru Jaya, PT Rumah Kencana Jaya, PT Petrus Kunci Abadi, PT Ade Sula, PT Kurnia Mutu Niagapratama, PT Busur Kilat Perkasa, and PT Sinar Elok Sejahtera. The Vini Icon category is aimed at distributors who represent renowned icons in the world for Vinilon Group.

Meanwhile the second category, Vini Legend was awarded to PT Sinar Makmur Lestarindo, PT Surya Prima Sentosa, PT Sindotech Cipta Makmur, and Ferto Group. The Vini Legend category represents legendary distributors who have long been dedicated to Vinilon, and it is hoped that they will continue to grow together in the future. Additionally, to enliven the event, the Vinilon Convention featured exciting games and door prizes.
